Spring Has Sprung in Carbon Country
Join us here in Carbon Country between March 19th and April 30th as we welcome the new spring season. Observe the flowers, smell the fragrance of newly cut grass, watch the bunnies as they bounce through the yard, and run your hands across the body of our horses as they shed their heavy winter coats.

Why not take advantage of a leisurely light stroll along the foothills trail located just across the street from Carbon Country’s Shady Rest Bed and Breakfast to try your hand at searching.

Elk Horn Adventure
After a restful nights sleep feast on our homecooked breakast, served with local ingredients prepared especially for you here at the Shady Rest. Then hit the trail for your adventure. Upon completion of your "treasure hunt" Return to the Shady Rest and enjoy a chacutrie board for two.
Later that evening, enjoy a soak in the two-person jetted tub in the JW room. Or soak in the claw foot tub of the Victorian Room or feel the spray from the one-of-a-kind waterfall shower of the Garden Room. Once relaxed, crawl beneath crisp clean sheets and warm comforting quilts provided in your luxurious queen sized bed and sleep the night away.
The next morning, reward yourself on completing your adventure, while indulging on our home cooked three course breakfast.
Upon departure, we have one last gift for you! Choose from our homemade blackberry syrup or our all handmade naturally scented soaps to remind you of your visit to Carbon Country’s Shady Rest Bed and Breakfast.
